Heavy duty Theatrical Winches can lift or move stage props and scenery - for instance, this video wall for designer Adam Walmsley. Typically, the winch cable runs within the stage deck with castered scenery wagons guided by a knife slot. Winches come with computer systems for controlled positioning, speed and end of travel limits.
